As 2025 comes to a close, we wanted to pause and reflect on the progress we’ve made over the past 12 months, which have been defined by steady, deliberate progress across every part of the R Tindall business. From operational investment and service expansion to people, governance and sustainability, the year has been about strengthening the foundations that support long-term growth.

A key operational milestone was the completion of the new Operations Hub at the Oldham facility. This development brought together production, planning, transport, quality and health and safety teams in a single, purpose-built space, improving visibility across the factory floor and supporting the company’s wider drive towards automation and continuous improvement. Alongside this, R Tindall made further investment into manufacturing capability with a major upgrade to its powder coating facilities, enhancing product quality, increasing efficiency and reducing waste through improved recovery rates.
The physical expansion of the business continued with the opening of a new distribution centre in Maidenhead. This strategic addition strengthened R Tindall’s ability to support customers across London, the South East and the wider southern region, improving delivery times and reinforcing the company’s position as a genuinely national supplier alongside its Oldham headquarters.

People and culture also remained a strong focus throughout the year. R Tindall welcomed new leadership with the appointment of Roy Warrington as Operations Director, while further strengthening its internal support structure through the introduction of the Mintago employee benefits platform. Designed to improve financial well-being and access to healthcare and advice, the platform reflects a broader commitment to supporting employees both inside and outside of work.
Across governance and compliance, 2025 saw several important milestones. R Tindall achieved Cyber Essentials certification, reinforcing its approach to digital security and data protection, and secured Constructionline Bronze membership alongside Acclaim Health and Safety certification. Another important certification to their comprehensive portfolio, earning FORS Bronze accreditation for its growing distribution fleet. These achievements sit alongside existing ISO accreditations and demonstrate continued investment in robust systems, accountability and best practice.

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) activity gathered real momentum during the year. R Tindall was awarded Silver Membership by the Supply Chain Sustainability School and achieved a Bronze EcoVadis rating, placing the business among the stronger performers in its sector for sustainability, labour practices and ethical procurement. This progress was underpinned by the completion of the company’s first full Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions baseline, providing a clear reference point for future reductions and supporting plans to accelerate the journey towards net zero.
Beyond the factory gates, R Tindall continued to invest in its community and the future of the industry. Support for local sport, including backing Bolton Futsal to a historic national title and sponsorship of youth teams, sat alongside participation in Greater Manchester’s T Level placement programme, helping young people gain meaningful experience in engineering and manufacturing. Industry recognition also featured during the year, with R Tindall appearing in both BAFSA’s Sprinkler Focus and Construction & Civil Engineering magazine, reflecting the company’s growing profile within the sector.

As R Tindall looks ahead, the focus remains on sustainable growth, continuous improvement and delivering long-term value for customers, employees and partners alike.
