R Tindall colleagues from across the business came together on Friday 19th December for IGNITE 2025, the company’s annual gathering and awards event, held at Chadderton Town Hall. The afternoon marked a chance to step away from day-to-day operations, reflect on the year past and recognise the people and teams whose
efforts continue to shape the business. The awards programme celebrated achievement across a wide range of disciplines and roles.
Mike Manning was named Rising Star Award winner in recognition of his growing impact and future potential, while the Cut & Screw team took home Team of the Year for their collective performance and collaboration. Dave Mannerson received the Customer Excellence Award for consistently delivering outstanding service, and Goss Khan was recognised with the Unsung Hero Award for his behind-the-scenes contribution that often goes unseen but never unfelt.
Ming Yue was awarded the ESG and Sustainability Award, highlighting the increasing importance of environmental and governance leadership within the business. The New Venture Award went to Hal Livesey for driving new opportunities forward, while Simon Scholes received the Collaboration Award for his role in bringing teams together. The Employee of the Year title was presented to Ste Atherton, and Scott Meggison was named winner of the People’s Choice Award, Most Helpful, following votes from colleagues across the company.
A special moment in the programme was the presentation of the Long Service Award to Mark Gooch, recognising an exceptional 27 years with R Tindall. His career reflects the depth of experience and loyalty that underpins the business, and the award was warmly received by colleagues who have worked alongside him over nearly three decades.
IGNITE 2025 reinforced R Tindall’s commitment to recognising not just results, but the behaviours, teamwork and long-term dedication that sit behind them. As the business looks ahead, the event served as both a thank-you and a reminder that progress is built by people, working together, year after year.
